English tutor for students approaching their 13+ exams or any ages through to GCSE level

Motivated, confident and enthusiastic student seeking the role as an English tutor. Passionate about educating, helping students excel and navigate themselves through complex and testing work.

I am largely motivated by the prospect of helping students thrive and reach their full potential. Tutoring was the predominant factor in determining my various academic successes when I was younger and therefore, I feel obliged to give something back.

My tutoring approach aims to be both engaging and rewarding. I aim to be engaging through the use of visual aids and providing constant feedback through a metacognitive approach. The rewarding aspect of my lessons are through the students progression. Therefore, home work can be set (if requested) this will be followed by in-depth feedback provided within the next lesson that ensues. I am vastly proficient within the online space, allowing for seamless lessons, uninterrupted by any potential technological malfunctions.
