English Tutor with UK Secondary School Teaching Experience

I am a New Zealand-born, UK citizen living in London. I am a recent graduate of English and Creative Writing (Royal Holloway, University of London, 2022). I achieved an A in English at A level and First Class Honours in my degree. I see this as a reflection of being among the best of my peers when it comes to detail, as well as indicating my passion for the English Language. I am an organised, hard-working individual and can be flexible with my time. Recently employed as an English Tutor in London, I teach young people between eleven and eighteen years old how to improve their written English so that they can score highly in their GCSE and A-level exams. I will be helping these students break down the English language, practice grammar, and analyse and engage with literary texts. Not only am I familiar with teaching, but I can also help students work within a mark scheme to achieve their goals. I believe that this would greatly benefit my ability to teach English as a foreign language, as I am sure many of you will be working towards a certificate or grade and I can specialise my teaching to support you on that journey.
