English for students of all ages

I have experience in tutoring students whose English is at a basic level and I am very calm and patient with them. I believe teaching a language should be fun and not a chore because it is indeed a beautiful experience. I would prepare lessons, and exercise sheets and recommend good books/movies to help my learners be fluent speakers. I will also help with intonation and pronunciation in order for them to sound like native speakers if they feel comfortable. I would let my learners choose the lesson content at times because it's all about them!

I would create PowerPoint presentations to deliver my lessons, with lots of images and jokes to make the lessons entertaining. When things are fun, it is way easier to learn. You wont even realise how much you are learning.

I love getting to know my learners, asking questions and being like a friend to them.

I understand how daunting it could be to learn a new language, I have been there myself as I am not a native speaker. With years of speaking English, I know the ins and out of the language and would love to teach tricks to learn the language quicker. I am only comfortable teaching English as I would not want to waste my learner’s time if I am not excellent at the job. However, I can speak and translate in Italian and Bengali so I will be able to help students whose native languages are those I have just mentioned.
