English Literature Tutor | GCSE & A-Level | Essay Writing, Text Analysis & Exam Skills

I specialise in helping GCSE and A-Level students develop stronger English Literature essays and feel more confident analysing texts.

As a 2:1 BA (Hons) English graduate from Queen Mary University of London, I have studied literature in depth and understand the skills students need to move from simply understanding a text to producing a clear, well-supported analytical argument.

Sessions can focus on areas such as:

• Developing stronger introductions and conclusions

Rather than simply giving students an answer, I guide them through the process of developing their own interpretation and explaining it effectively.

Lessons are relaxed and encouraging, but always focused on making measurable improvements. We can work through set texts, past-paper questions, essays from school or particular areas a student is struggling with.

My goal is for students to leave each lesson with a clearer understanding of the text and practical techniques they can use in their next essay or exam.
