English and Creative Writing Tutor, for All Ages

I have two degrees in English with Comparative Literature (Goldsmiths, University of London) and Creative Writing (Royal Holloway, University of London). I also work as a school librarian, and have extensive experience in teaching students how to research and use both library and online resources to build independent study skills. I am experienced in working with children from Key Stage 2 right up to sixth form.
I am available to assist with studying for English exams (including GCSE and A-Levels), or just general reading and writing or homework. I am also able to assist sixth form students with EPQs, and can work with students on improving independent research skills, how to structure essays, and learning to use references and compose bibliographies. I can also assist with university applications, particularly if you are interested in studying creative writing, and I’m happy to help work on writing and editing creative writing portfolios.
