I hold a B.A. (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Sciences with a major in Psychology from Erasmus University College, where I developed strong research, communication, and counselling skills through both qualitative and quantitative work. During my studies, I was nominated as a student representative to meet with the Supervisory Board of Education in the Netherlands, where I contributed to discussions on improving learning environments through interdisciplinary and student-centred approaches. My work was influenced by Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences and different learning styles, advocating for educational systems that better support diverse learners. Professionally, I have experience facilitating trainings and mentoring adults in workplace environments. At Achelis (Tanganyika) Limited, I designed and facilitated training sessions focused on communication, audience engagement, mindset development, and authentic client connection. I also collaborated with transformational coach Dr. Justin Cohen to deliver training programmes aimed at improving intrinsic motivation, interpersonal effectiveness, and confidence in professional settings. At BearingPoint, I worked closely on the Active Manager project, a behavioural and operational development programme focused on improving leadership, workplace engagement, communication, and team effectiveness. This experience strengthened my understanding of behavioural change, coaching strategies, motivation, and supportive performance development. Additionally, my bachelor thesis explored resilience among successful CEOs in Tanzania through in-depth qualitative interviews. This research gave me a strong understanding of resilience and its psychological determinants, including intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy, mindset, and behavioural conditioning. These insights strongly inform my approach to helping students build confidence, adaptability, and sustainable habits for success. Taken together, these experiences directly support my ability to guide students in both academic and personal development. I am able to help students understand their own learning styles, build effective study strategies, and develop confidence in their abilities. My background in psychology and coaching enables me to support students in strengthening motivation, overcoming academic challenges, and building resilience when facing setbacks.
