I have experience in psychology-informed training, coaching, and behavioural development across both corporate and educational settings, with a strong focus on communication, motivation, leadership, and personal development. My approach to teaching and facilitation is well informed by psychological theory and applied practice, particularly in areas such as motivation, behavioral change, self-efficacy, and learning processes. My teaching methodology is collaborative and student-centred. Rather than delivering information in a prescriptive way, I focus on working with individuals to understand how they learn, what drives their behaviour, and what barriers may be limiting their progress. From this foundation, I design tailored strategies that support both skill development and long-term behavioral change. My approach integrates goal setting, reflective practice, experimentation with learning techniques, and continuous feedback to ensure that progress is both measurable and sustainable. At Achelis (Tanganyika) Limited, I designed and facilitated training sessions for adults in professional environments. These sessions focused on communication skills, audience engagement, mindset development, and building authentic client relationships. My role involved helping participants strengthen their interpersonal effectiveness, confidence, and ability to communicate clearly and purposefully in workplace settings. Here, I applied experiential learning methods and reflective coaching techniques to encourage active participation and real-world application of skills. I also collaborated with transformational coach Dr. Justin Cohen to deliver structured training programs aimed at improving intrinsic motivation, confidence, and professional effectiveness. This work deepened my understanding of how mindset, behavioral patterns, and internal motivation directly influence performance and personal growth. It also strengthened my ability to guide individuals in developing self-awareness and sustaining motivation through psychologically informed coaching practices. At BearingPoint, I worked on the Active Manager project, a behavioural and operational development programme focused on improving leadership capability, team engagement, communication, and workplace effectiveness. This experience strengthened my understanding of behavioral change processes within organizational systems, as well as how coaching frameworks can be used to improve performance, accountability, and collaboration in professional environments. In addition to my professional training experience, I conducted academic research for my bachelor thesis on resilience among successful CEOs in Tanzania, using in-depth qualitative interviews. This research provided me with a strong foundation in understanding resilience, intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy, and the psychological factors that contribute to high performance under pressure. These insights directly inform my teaching approach, particularly in supporting individuals to develop persistence, adaptability, and confidence when facing challenges. Alongside my academic and professional work, I also held a student representative role during my studies at Erasmus University College, where I engaged with the Supervisory Board of Education in the Netherlands. In this role, I contributed to discussions on improving learning environments and advocated for interdisciplinary and student-centred approaches to education, drawing on psychological theory and inclusive learning principles.
