Starting with a short summary of my academic background and qualifications, I achieved 12 9s at GCSE - (Math, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Italian, Spanish, French, History, Geography, Drama, English Literature, English Language) and graduated my secondary school (St Paul's School, London) with the following grades: Biology (A); Chemistry (A), Economics (A*), Maths (A), EPQ (A: 49/54 - about using artificial intelligence (AI) to predict the protein structures needed to positively influence drug affinity to target molecules). Furthermore, as a native Italian, I am proficient in the language and also offer engaging tutoring lessons in Italian for students of all levels.

Beyond this, I've always felt in touch with helping others learn and grow and alongside this, I bring a mix of academic knowledge and real-life experience to my tutoring. My strong passion for science, especially biochemistry, which I am currently studying at UCL, has been shaped from both independent research projects and hands-on lab experience which has taught me the importance of breaking down tricky concepts into clear, simple steps. A testament to this is the GCSE students who I have tutored previously that have benefitted from clearer understanding, improved grades, and greater confidence in their abilities.

Outside the classroom, I'm a big footballer and have played at a high level in my time. This has really strengthened my ability to connect with people from all backgrounds and definitely given me the skills to help students stay confident and resilient through challenges. My lessons are relaxed yet focused and I encourage questions, use relatable examples and make sure students feel comfortable exploring new ideas until they really click. More than just improving grades, I really seek to build my students' confidence and curiosity as well as spark within them a genuine enjoyment for learning.
