I’ve been a maths tutor for the Leaving Cert and Junior Cert Higher and Ordinary level exams in Ireland for over 2 years with both in person teaching experience as well as online via WhatsApp or Teams. I obtained a H1 in Mathematics and a H2 in applied Mathematics both scoring the highest in my school across both subjects. In my classes I have taught one to ones as well as small groups of students (~6). Additionally I also have swimming teaching experience as well as strong communication skills from my time as a science communicator on UCC radio where I explained advanced scientific concepts go a wider array of audiences. I have also obtained first class honours in BSc Hons Genetics from UCC as well as MSc Bioinformatics and Computational biology UCC allowing me to teach advanced biological concepts at the college level as well as mathematical code and statistical analysis in R and Python.
