I am currently a university lecturer in physical geography but have experience of delivering sessions for A-Level students also.

I understand that we each learn differently; some are visual learners, others learn by doing practical tasks for example. We also all need to learn new concepts and skills by relating them to what we already know- what fires our interest and excites us. Learning is a fundamentally emotional experience.
