Advert description
I have a masters degree in contemporary art practice in fine arts from the Royal College of Art and have studied history of art with London School of Philosophy.
My lessons and tutoring facilitate a client-centred model of teaching where we create
meaningful growth through the interests of the student while building knowledge that will
enable them to perform academically.
I can teach students the art movements, the contemporary issues, the theoretical concerns, and the practical aspects of art making both now and in art history. Giving them the tools to perform at exams and prepare portfolios and for interviews
I have been a practicing artist for over ten years and during that time I have worked with many different technologies and media including painting, sculpture, sound art, performance, creative writing, photography and video.
I have also worked with well known artists in fabricating, installing, and archiving their work.
Along with this experience, I have a lot of experience teaching and tutoring people of all ages including young children, teenagers, and adults, from pre-school art workshops to higher education.
My podtgraduate training has included best practices for working with with physical and neurological diversity.
