Advert description
Studying architecture or interior design can feel intense. You are juggling design projects, tight deadlines, technical skills, presentations and written work, often with little time or space to step back and make sense of it all. You do not have to do that on your own.
I am a university lecturer, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and practising architect. I have taught and examined across studio, technical and theory modules and served on several assessment and moderation panels. I understand how courses are built, how learning outcomes and marking criteria really work and how student work is judged. I use that knowledge to support you in making your existing course feel clearer, more manageable and more aligned with practice.
I offer one to one support that sits alongside your current studies and strengthens what you are already doing:
- Design projects and studio development
- Drawing skills, from sketching to technical communication
- CAD,3D visualisation and all forms of representation and media
- Portfolio development for progression or applications
- Dissertations and essays, including literature reviews, research questions and design research
Sessions are conversational and collaborative. We might review a brief, identify what tutors are truly asking for, sketch through options together, test different design directions or map out a structure for your dissertation. You bring your course material, feedback and questions and we turn them into a clear plan of action.
My aim is to give you space to think with guidance from someone who understands both the academic system and the realities of practice. Together we can refine your projects, sharpen your thinking and present your work with more confidence and clarity.
