I hold a CELTA (International House London, British Council-accredited) and currently teach English to international learners aged 8–18 at a British Council-accredited school in London. I've also mentored postgraduate students on academic writing and English expression at the University of Sheffield. As a native German speaker with reading knowledge of French and Spanish, I understand the learning process from a language learner's own perspective. I teach by first identifying each student's specific goals — exam preparation, workplace English, everyday fluency — then building lessons around real, practical use of the language: structured grammar and vocabulary work paired with plenty of guided speaking and listening practice, with regular feedback so progress stays visible and motivating.
