Advert description
I’m a native English tutor with three years’ experience teaching corporate professionals and entrepreneurs. I focus on Business English because I know how much your confidence at work affects your career, your opportunities and how others see you. My aim is simple: to help you speak English in a way that truly reflects your knowledge, skills and personality.
How I will help you
Before we begin, I want to understand you. In our first lesson, we’ll talk about your job, your goals and the situations where English feels hardest. Do you hesitate in meetings? Find small talk awkward? Spend too long writing emails? Have an interview or presentation coming up? I’ll also assess your current level so I know exactly where to start and which areas will make the biggest difference for you.
From there, I create a learning plan built around your real working life. Instead of following a textbook that has nothing to do with your job, we’ll practise the conversations, presentations and emails you actually need. If you have a pitch next week, we’ll prepare and rehearse it together. If meetings are your challenge, we’ll role-play the discussions you really have. Every lesson has a clear purpose, and you’ll always know why we’re doing what we’re doing.
What I will teach you
Depending on your goals, we can work on:
-Speaking confidently in meetings and on video calls, including giving opinions, agreeing and disagreeing politely, and interrupting naturally
-Planning and delivering presentations and pitches that are clear and persuasive
-Handling negotiations and client conversations with diplomatic, professional language
-Networking and small talk, so you can build relationships with ease
-Writing clear, professional emails and reports with the right tone
-Preparing for job interviews and talking about your achievements effectively
-Improving pronunciation and fluency so you sound more natural and are easily understood
You’ll also build a bank of practical vocabulary and expressions that you can use at work
