Biology tutor providing lessons to all ages of children upto 15

Advert description
Welcome to a world of biological discovery!**

My name is Anshu, and I am a dedicated Biology tutor passionate about making the "science of life" accessible, exciting, and easy to master. I specialize in teaching children and young teens, from early primary explorers (age 5) to secondary school students tackling their Year 10 foundations (age 15).

Why Choose My Lessons?
Biology can often feel like a mountain of vocabulary and complex diagrams. My mission is to break down these barriers using a three-pillar approach:

1. Visual & Interactive Learning: For younger students, I use 3D models, colorful diagrams, and real-world examples (like the biology of their own pets or the plants in their garden) to make concepts stick.
2. Simplified Complexity: I have a knack for explaining difficult topics—like DNA replication, photosynthesis, or the circulatory system—in a way that a 10-year-old can explain back to me.
3. Exam & Assessment Readiness: For students aged 13-15, I focus heavily on "command words" in science exams. Knowing the facts is only half the battle; I teach students how to structure their answers to pick up maximum marks.

I tailor every session to the student's current school level and personal goals:

Primary Years (Ages 5-11): Introduction to living things, habitats, the human body, and the life cycles of plants and animals. We focus on curiosity and the "Why?" behind nature.

Lower Secondary (Ages 11-14): Building a rock-solid foundation in cell biology, nutrition, respiration, and genetics. This is where we bridge the gap between basic science and formal Biology.

GCSE Foundations (Age 15): Intensive support for Year 10 students. We dive deep into the specific exam board requirements (AQA, Edexcel, or OCR), focusing on required practicals and data analysis.

My Commitment to You...
Every child has a "lightbulb moment" waiting to happen. Whether your child is struggling to keep up in class or is a high-achiever looking for an extra challenge, I provide a patient, encouraging, and non-intimidating atmosphere.

Let’s turn Biology from a difficult subject into your child’s favorite one!

Note: I offer a competitive rate of £30/hour. Please feel free to message me to discuss your child's specific needs or to book a trial session.
