Advert description
I am a bilingual, French native speaker, originally from Dijon (Burgundy, France) and I have lived in the United Kingdom for over 20 years.
After my MA in English Arts, Language and Literature, I worked as a French teaching assistant for two years and completed my PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages (French and Spanish) at Cambridge University. I then started working in secondary schools in London and now have 15 years of experience teaching French and Spanish to primary and secondary school children. 7 years ago, I also started teaching English Language and Literature as well as English as a Second Language.
Thanks to my qualifications, extensive teaching experience and expertise, I can confidently teach the following subjects:
- Spanish: 11+
- French: 11+, GCSE, IGCSE, A Level and IB, adult learners
- English Language and Literature: 11+, GCSE
- ESOL: 11+, Cambridge Assessment Examinations
I am a friendly, patient and organised teacher and my lessons are engaging, interactive and tailored to students’ needs. I am passionate about helping language learners develop the skills to communicate effectively in a new language and gain an understanding and appreciation of other cultures.
After an initial assessment of your level, we will set achievable targets linked to your goals and agree on a programme of study. I will provide constructive feedback on your work and encourage you to keep working hard. Whether you are aiming for fun, cultural lessons, preparing for exams or enhancing your communication skills, I am dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. Progress and success are only a few steps away!
