Basic English Language for Improvers

Hi, I'm Sinead! I'm an Irish native English speaker, and I love helping children and teenagers build confidence and fluency in English in a fun, relaxed, and encouraging environment.

My lessons are conversational and activity-based, meaning we don't just sit and read from a textbook we talk, play games, do role plays, and work through real-life scenarios that make English feel natural and useful. I tailor every lesson to the individual student, whether that means focusing on pronunciation, expanding vocabulary, building reading comprehension, or simply getting comfortable speaking without fear of making mistakes.
A typical lesson with me might include a warm-up conversation to get comfortable, a short activity or topic (such as animals, food, daily routines, or hobbies), some vocabulary building, and a fun game or story to finish. I keep things moving so students stay engaged and energised throughout.
I have hands-on experience teaching English to Thai children here in Bangkok, and I draw on my background in customer service and communication to make every student feel heard, supported, and motivated. I believe every child learns differently, so I pay close attention to what works best for each student and adjust my approach accordingly.
