My teaching experience includes roles at Hichida School and Les Petits School in Vancouver, where I taught art, dance, and Japanese to children and young people. I also worked at the Creation Cafe Gallery in Osaka, assisting artists and organising events, which gave me valuable insight into supporting creative communities. In addition to my art teaching, I bring strong tutoring skills from a different field. While working as a pharmacist in Japan, I spent five years tutoring university students in medicine. This experience taught me how to explain complex ideas clearly, adapt to individual learning styles, and create a supportive learning environment—qualities that I bring into my art instruction as well. I recently completed an Art and English course in London with distinction, and I am eager to share both traditional and digital techniques with students. I believe my background in education, combined with my lifelong passion for the arts, makes me well-suited to inspire learners on your platform.
