I am a qualified TESOL English tutor with over 12 years of experience teaching young learners and adults general and business English, with IELTS exam preparation. I also teach English Language and Literature at GCSE and A-Level, along with Advertising. My lessons focus on building confidence, improving fluency, and tailoring content to each student’s goals—whether academic, professional, or conversational.

I deliver engaging and well researched Zoom or Teams lessons, with tailored 1-to-1 sessions from the first lesson. I have also successfully prepared students for their IELTS exams and in the last 4 years have assisted a student in his 40s move from level B2 (upper intermediate) to C2 (proficient).

My approach focuses on building fluency, correcting grammar, incorporating real-life colloquial terms and creating interactive activities that support each student's learning style. I help learners achieve their personal goals through tailored lesson plans and well researched topics. Having also invigilated over 30+ high-stakes GCSE exams in the UK in 2025, I have deepened my understanding of online exam systems, safeguarding, and the pressure of online exams that students face today. I therefore, incorporate this experience into my teaching to help students remain calm, feel prepared, and confident under pressure.
