I'm Luca, a friendly and patient tutor whose lessons are aimed at KS3/GCSE students. I also support struggling A-Level students

I currently tutor Maths and English for students from KS1 to KS4, so I have experience adapting my explanations to different ages, abilities and learning styles. I achieved AAA at A-Level in Maths, Physics and Religious Studies, and I am taking a gap year before studying Mechanical Engineering at university. My strength in Maths is particularly useful for Physics, where many students struggle with equations, rearranging formulae and calculations. I am most familiar with AQA content and exam technique. I start by finding out where the student is, what they find difficult and what they are aiming for. I then break each topic into small, clear steps and explain it in different ways until it makes sense, often linking ideas to real-world examples. Lessons mix explanation with plenty of practice questions, so students build confidence and exam technique, and I give clear feedback on mistakes so they know how to improve. I keep sessions friendly and encouraging so students feel comfortable asking questions, and I adapt the pace and focus to each student's goals.
