Danny Oliver

Hi I'm Danny. I'm a 4th year student at the University of Bath studying for an integrated Masters in Physics. I offer tuition in Physics, Maths and Further Maths at A-level and GCSE, with experience tutoring.
My studies at university have given me a fantastic understanding of the concepts that underlie the Physics seen at A-level and GCSE, as well as what exists beyond these syllabuses. This is also true in Maths, which acts as the language and the tools to understand university Physics. This has given me a fluency in mathematics in GCSE and A-level topics and much more on top of this.
My aim in lessons is to help students succeed, by not just covering what content they need to know, but to also try to help them understand where these concepts come from and why they work, using my experience to facilitate this. I also make sure to give a good focus and time towards practice questions, so that students improve in applying their knowledge, and understand what they're doing well or where they're going wrong and why. All of this aims to allow students to feel more confident when they ultimately have to sit exams, with the knowledge, understanding and practice to tackle even the hardest and most unfamiliar questions confidently.

A typical lesson would be online and 1 hour in length but this can be flexible depending on the needs of the student. I also offer the first lesson free, so you cand see if me and my tutoring is a good fit for the student.

If you are interested in lessons, or have any questions please let me know!
