Confident Dutch speaking lessons with a native speaker and actress for all ages

Hi everyone! My name is Mikky, and I’m a native Dutch speaker from the Netherlands. I work professionally as an actress in film and television, and alongside my acting career, I have experience teaching and leading discussions at the Netherlands Film Academy. As an actress, I work a lot with language, pronunciation, expression and communication. I love exploring how language works, not just grammatically, but also in everyday conversations and the way people express themselves. I also know what it’s like to learn a new language. I speak English at C1 level and German at B1 level. Earlier this year, I took intensive three-month German courses at the Goethe-Institut, starting from scratch. This taught me a lot about the challenges of language learning and what makes the learning process enjoyable and effective. In my lessons, I want to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you feel comfortable practising, asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to help you speak Dutch with confidence, while also introducing you to Dutch culture, expressions and everyday language.
