Ndewo! My name is Ogechukwu Esther Offor, a native Igbo speaker from Nigeria. Are you a parent in the UK who wants your children to speak Igbo confidently with grandparents at home? Or are you an adult who wants to reconnect with your roots? I am here to help you. I teach Igbo in a very simple, fun and patient way. My lessons are fully personalised for you. No boring memorisation. We learn through everyday conversation, stories, songs, proverbs and real-life practice. What you will learn with me: - Igbo alphabets, tones and pronunciation (very important for beginners) - Greetings, numbers, family names, food, market talk etc - Conversational Igbo :how to speak fluently at home - Reading and writing Igbo - Igbo culture and wise proverbs (Ilu Igbo) I also teach children(ages 4-15) and heritage learners who understand small Igbo but are shy to speak. I am a mother, I am very patient, encouraging and friendly. I will make your child love Igbo. I teach online via Zoom/Google Meet.
