Engaging English Lessons Online for All Ages with a TEFL-Certified Tutor

Hello! My name is Seamus, and I'm an enthusiastic and approachable English tutor with over 18 months of experience teaching students online through Preply, as well as one year of classroom teaching experience in Brazil. I hold a TEFL certificate and enjoy helping students of different ages, backgrounds and proficiency levels achieve their English-learning goals. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether you're looking to improve your conversational English, develop your grammar and vocabulary, prepare for an English proficiency exam, or build confidence for work, study or travel abroad. I believe learning English should be practical, engaging and enjoyable. My teaching approach focuses on real-life communication, interactive activities and relevant topics that encourage students to speak naturally and confidently. I can also explain difficult grammar concepts in a clear and straightforward way, helping you understand not just what to say, but why. As someone who speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish and has experience living and working internationally, I understand the challenges of learning another language. I'm patient, supportive and committed to helping every student make consistent progress. Whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced learner, I'd love to help you take the next step in your English journey. Let's work together to achieve your goals!
