Advert description
I am an artist, educator and workshop facilitator with experience at galleries and arts organisations including Modern Art Oxford and the Ruskin School of Art. I graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Oxford and achieved a Distinction in my Foundation Diploma in Art & Design. My work has been recognised by the MAO Platform Graduate Award and ORB Art Prize, judged by representatives from the Hayward Gallery, Serpentine Galleries and Royal Academy.
I offer tailored Art & Design tuition and History & Theory of Art lessons for GCSE, A-Level and IB students, as well as those preparing for Foundation or university applications and developing portfolios.
Having taught sculpture, drawing and CAD to A-Level students through the University of Oxford, delivered creative workshops with schools and supported prospective students, I understand the expectations of different educational pathways and what makes a strong portfolio. As a practising artist, I remain actively engaged in contemporary art, research and exhibition-making.
My lessons are relaxed, practical and shaped around your goals, whether you are aiming for higher grades, preparing an application or building confidence in your work. I particularly enjoy helping students who feel stuck or unsure how to develop their ideas. Having experienced different educational pathways myself, I can help you explore your options, understand course expectations and develop a portfolio that reflects your interests and ambitions.
My aim is not to tell you what your art should look like, but to help you strengthen your technical skills, think critically and develop confidence in your own creative voice.
Please get in touch to discuss your goals, arrange lessons or view my portfolio.
