Practical Leadership Skills for Managers and Teams from an Experienced Industry Leader

Leadership is learned by doing, not by reading about it. I’ve spent over 35 years leading teams in engineering, consulting and technology across 25+ countries. I founded and scaled a B2B tech company, raised over £20m in funding, and ran a 20-person business development team at PwC. Now I help managers and teams build the skills I had to learn the hard way. Every session starts with your real situation: a difficult conversation, a team that isn’t delivering, an important negotiation, or too many priorities and not enough time. Together we work out what’s really going on, practise the approach (often through role-play), and you leave with one or two concrete actions to try before we meet again. Next time, we review what happened and adjust. With me you’ll build practical skills in leading people, communicating clearly, delegating, negotiating and managing your time. Everything is adapted to your industry and your level, whether you’re a new manager or running your own business. Sessions can be online, hybrid or in person, and they’re relaxed and honest, so you can ask anything.
