Art and Design tuition for all ages: Build confidence and skills with an experienced teacher

Do you love being creative but sometimes struggle to know where to start, how to continue? Or perhaps you have lots of ideas but want to develop your skills and confidence? I’m an experienced Art & Design teacher, artist, designer and photographer, with over 20 years of professional experience across the creative industries. I currently teach Art from Prep through to A Level and enjoy helping students of all ages discover what they can achieve. My own creative background is incredibly varied; from painting, photography and filmmaking to ceramics, sculpture, textiles, fashion, product design and 3D work. This means lessons can be adapted around your interests, whether you love drawing and painting, want to try something completely new, or are looking to develop a particular project. I can help with building creative confidence, improving practical skills, developing GCSE or A Level coursework, exploring new ideas, or creating a strong portfolio for Art Foundation, university or a future career in the creative industries. My approach is friendly, encouraging and hands-on. I believe that there is no single "right" way to be creative. Experimenting, making mistakes and trying something unexpected are all part of the process. My role is to help you develop your ideas, discover your strengths and create work that feels genuinely your own. Whether you are just starting out, preparing for an important exam or portfolio, or simply want to spend more time doing something you love, I’d be delighted to help you explore your creativity and take your work to the next level. Online and in-person tuition available.
