Advert description
I am an Electronic Engineering with Computer Systems student at the University of Surrey with experience teaching mathematics during a school teaching internship. I enjoy helping students understand topics that initially seem difficult by breaking them down into simple, manageable steps.
My lessons are patient, supportive and adapted to the individual student. I do not believe in rushing through questions just to get an answer; I make sure the student understands why a method works so they can become more confident solving similar problems independently.
During my teaching internship, I worked with different students and learned how important it is to explain the same idea in different ways depending on how someone learns best. I am happy to help with homework, revision, exam preparation or topics that a student simply wants more practice with.
I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improving at their own pace.
