Hi! I’m Emily, a native Chinese speaker with a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Shanghai Business School in China. Having completed my undergraduate studies in China, I have a strong understanding of Mandarin Chinese, including everyday expressions, vocabulary and Chinese culture. I also speak Uyghur and have experience studying in an international environment. I have previous experience tutoring English privately in China, which helped me develop my communication skills and learn how to explain language concepts clearly and patiently. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I aim to make my lessons friendly, interactive and tailored to each student’s level, interests and goals. In my Chinese lessons, we can practise everyday conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and useful expressions for real-life situations. I can also introduce you to Chinese traditions, culture and daily life to help you understand not only the language but also the context behind it. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your fluency, I will support you step by step, encourage you to speak with confidence and help you make steady progress.
