Individualised online science tutoring for Key Stage 1 to A Level with a neuroscience student

My own academic background informs the way I tutor. I am currently studying Neuroscience at a Russell Group university in London and intend to pursue further postgraduate study. I bring the discipline and study methods I have developed through my own education into my tutoring, while ensuring that explanations remain accessible and appropriate for each student's level. I have four years of tutoring experience, supporting students in Science, Maths and English from Year 11 through to A Level. During this time, I have worked with students preparing for SATs, GCSEs and A Levels, as well as students looking to strengthen their foundations, build confidence or work beyond their current school level. My approach is highly individualised. I recognise that students can struggle with the same topic for very different reasons, so I focus on identifying the underlying difficulty before deciding how best to address it. Whether a student needs to revisit a fundamental concept, develop their exam technique or be challenged with more advanced material, I adapt both the pace and difficulty of my sessions accordingly. I also have experience supporting students with UCAS university applications, including personal-statement feedback and helping students think strategically about their university choices and applications. Having navigated the process myself, I understand how important it is for students to present their academic interests, experiences and aspirations effectively.
