Friendly English Tutor for Key Stage 1 to Adults - Tailored Lessons with a Supportive Approach

I’m Mariya, a friendly and supportive English tutor with experience teaching both children and adults from a variety of backgrounds. My lessons are relaxed, encouraging and tailored to you. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I’ll take the time to understand your level, your goals and the areas you would most like to improve. Whether you want to work on speaking and confidence, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, spelling or academic English, we can shape our lessons around what you need. I have experience teaching English internationally, including six months volunteering in Morocco where I taught English to mothers and children. I have also tutored English, Law and other academic subjects, and I currently support younger children with English, phonics, spelling, handwriting and schoolwork. You can expect our lessons to be friendly, interactive and judgement-free. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and practising until you feel confident. Most importantly, I want you to enjoy learning English and see real progress as we work together!
