I believe teaching is the best gift that one generation can give to the next. Via active listening and support, a mentor can understand what the student is going through and provide better support in the learning endeavours of his/her mentee(s). Also, the mentor's role is as active as the mentees'. Indeed, I encourage and expect my students to engage with the lessons to achieve maximum knowledge gain and improve the delivery of the teaching in each following lesson. Usually, I blend standard 1:1 teaching sessions with exercises, which I adjust to the proficiency level of my students, generated using the support of AI to improve their efficacy and scenarios variability. This mixture of methods allows for theoretical as well as day-to-day practical knowledge.
