My sessions are built around student’s own work and questions rather than a fixed curriculum. I’ll usually start by understanding what they’re making or writing, where they feel stuck, and what excites them, then structure sessions around that.
For practical work, I focus on helping students develop their own visual language: thinking through material choices, process, and how a piece communicates. For critical and contextual work, I help students read and write about art with more confidence, finding their own argument rather than summarising what others have said.
