Experienced Mathematics tutor with over 9 years of teaching and tutoring experience, supporting students from primary school through university level.

I provide clear, patient and engaging Mathematics lessons tailored to each student's needs. I help students strengthen their understanding of difficult topics, develop problem-solving skills, prepare for examinations and build confidence in Mathematics.

I have professional experience developing Mathematics content for Year 9 and Year 10 equivalent students, including questions, worked solutions and online learning materials. I have also developed content for 11+, IGCSE and SATs and taught the Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning section of the GRE.

My lessons focus on understanding rather than memorisation. I break difficult topics into manageable steps, use worked examples and practice questions, and adapt my explanations to suit each student's level and learning style.

I offer online lessons and in-person tutoring in the Newtown/Powys area. I currently support students with school Mathematics, examination preparation, challenging topics and general improvement.
