GCSE to A-level Sociology tuition to help students to reach their full potential

Hello everyone! I am Hanna, a Sociology with Criminology undergraduate studying at the University of Liverpool.

I have studied Sociology from GCSE level, throughout my A-level and I am now pursuing a degree in Sociology. My experience and thorough knowledge willl provide me with the tools to help guide students to ensure they reach their full potential. As each individual may find it more beneficial to learn in different ways, I will ensure that I adpat my teaching dynamic to suit each student. For myself and the student to see significant improvement in their confidence and academically, my tutoring sessions will include:

Understanding key Sociological concepts: The basis of Sociology is much more easier to understand if key concepts and key words are understood - I will work with the student to break down key sociological concepts, theories and key words to ensure the student has a deeper understanding of them.

Building upon ways to study: For Sociology, it is essential to find ways to study that work for you as all individuals work differently - I aim to provide and offer the student with advice, studying techniques, how to analyse situations sociologically and critical thinking.

Overall, I aim to make all my tutoring sessions flexible for the individual and a comfortable learning environment! I will ensure the student feels open and confident enough to ask questions, especially if they are struggling with anything.
