Spanish Ttutor

Hello there!

I'm Stephen, and I'm excited to share my experience as a private tutor with you. I absolutely love teaching both Spanish and English, and I specialise in working with students across various levels, from KS3, GCSE, and A-level, to even our younger learners preparing for SATs.

My educational journey led me to a degree in English and Spanish from the University of Liverpool, which has given me a strong foundation in these languages. While in Spain during my year abroad, I had the incredible opportunity to work at an international private school, where I fine-tuned my tutoring skills by providing personalized support to students. After completing my degree, I embarked on a school direct PGCE course, which allowed me to further enhance my teaching abilities.

Currently, I'm delighted to be leading the Spanish department at a high school where I teach classes of up to 30 students. I am accustomed to teaching the national curriculum and can incorporate this into lessons. I've also been successfully working as a private tutor for the past two years.

My real passion is creating engaging and interactive lessons that truly capture students' interest. I firmly believe in teaching practical language skills that students can apply in everyday life. My teaching philosophy revolves around helping students of all abilities achieve their best results, all within a safe and supportive learning environment. I'm deeply committed to empowering students to reach their full potential, and I take immense pride in delivering lessons that inspire growth and success.
