Experienced Tutor for GCSE English Literature and Language

I am a dedicated tutor with a wealth of experience who aims to work with you to help you identify and attain your goals. I believe very strongly that every student deserves a tailored approach and I adapt my teaching style and materials for each individual learner.

If you’re on the fence, I offer a free no-commitment 30 minute introduction session. This will be spent getting to know each other and discussing what you hope to accomplish with our sessions, so that if you choose to move forward with tutoring you can do so with confidence that I’ll work hard to ensure lessons are tailored exactly to your needs and goals.

I have been tutoring for over a year and my academic background includes a BA(Hons) in English Literature with Creative Writing and an MA in Publishing with distinction. In my professional writing career, my published novels have been shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and the YA Book Prize, and twice-nominated for the Carnegie Medal for Writing. I am also an experienced editor, with 5 years’ experience Copyediting academic writing — so you can be confident in my strong grasp of English grammar, spelling, syntax and punctuation.
