I am an enthusiastic and engaging English teacher, offering tuition from GCSE language to A-Level literature.

My lessons are friendly, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I begin by identifying strengths, areas for improvement and personal goals, then plan activities that build both skills and confidence. I explain difficult ideas clearly, break larger tasks into manageable stages and use examples, discussion and guided practice before encouraging independent work. Each student will receive positive, constructive feedback and practical advice they can apply straight away. For GCSE and A-level learners, lessons can be matched to their examination board and focused on assessment objectives, essay writing, textual analysis and exam technique. Above all, I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their own ideas and making genuine progress.
