University graduate and native English Tutor with 3+ years’ experience with personalised lessons that build confidence

Hello, my name is Emelia and I am a native English speaker. I graduated from one of the top 100 universtities in the world (the University of Manchester in June 2024) with a degree in Sociology. During my time at university, I completed and specialise in several education-focused modules and research projects, which ignited my passion for helping others learn and succeed.

I have worked as a full time tutor on Preply since March 2026 and have 3 years tutoring experience through job roles supporting non-native English speakers, helping them develop confidence and fluency in the language.

I achieved top A grade at both GCSE and A-level in English Language and literature therefore, I have a deep interest and knowledge for the English language. I believe education is one of the most important aspects of society, so I would love to make a meaningful impact.

Outside of tutoring, my interests include reading, travelling, and socialising.
