History, Politics and Economics tutor for students studying at GCSE to A levels

I am presently studying History and Political Economy at King’s College London, having just completed my first year. I have studied History throughout my academic career, having received a grade 9 at GCSE (2020) and then an A* at A level (2022). My skills in the field lie in: primary and secondary source analysis, factual recall (specifically statistics and key dates) and how to frame a cohesive and convincing argument in an essay. Whilst at university I have frequently written for the student newspaper alongside my studies recently climbing to an editorial role. This has given me experience working with more junior writers and helping turn their ideas into engaging articles and building their confidence. In addition to this, whilst in sixth form I ran a weekly debating club in which I taught the younger students crucial historical and political concepts as well as the key pillars to debating: public speaking, structuring an argument and the art of rebuttal. I believe my background in history and previous work with students has given me the knowledge of the subject and skills necessary provide enjoyable and engaging lessons. I can't wait to get started!
