I recently graduated from Cardiff University with a 1st class degree in English Literature. I have a broad knowledge of all genres including prose, poetry and plays. Bonus points if we get to look at anything Romantic or Medieval! 🌿🏰

My own GCSEs and A Levels weren't that long ago, so if you're needing that extra push to improve your grades, or just some friendly advice and inspiration, I'm the one to call. I know what it's like to have to overcome challenges in these exams - I was driven to do some pretty weird stuff to help me get those top grades (spoiler alert: it occasionally involved roller skates) - but I'm the proof that my methods work, earning me top grades all throughout school and my degree.

I'm a bit crafty, and really enjoy coming up with my own tailored resources to learn about texts or come up with simplified writing structures. This makes my teaching super accessible for all levels without overwhelming students with tons and tons of information. I know English is a subject that can be quite daunting sometimes - it can seem like a lot of content to get to grips with, and lots of people find themselves swimming in word soup.
