I am passionate about science and this is the reason why I've continued to work in the science industry for most of my professional career. My specialism is chemistry, which I've enjoyed studying from an early age.

I have taught both in public and private sector, mainly in local colleges. I have over twenty years experience of teaching chemistry to a diverse range of students.

I take a holistic approach to my teaching and try to understand the type of learner the student is e.g. visual, kinaesthetic. This enables me to tailor my teaching style to the individual needs of the student as opposed to the 'once shoe fits all' approach. I think understanding the needs of the student is paramount in creating a successful learning relationship.
