I teach English as a second language to both children and adults. I offer online lessons and face-to-face lessons in Leeds. I did not start my journey as an English teacher. In 2022, I arrived in the UK with English at a beginner level and had to learn it from scratch as my second language. Thanks to excellent teachers, hard work and persistence, I achieved something that once seemed impossible. In 2026, I passed GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature. Because I have experienced this journey myself, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. I know what it feels like to doubt yourself, and I know how encouraging the right support can be. My experience 15 years of volunteering with children and young people in Ukraine, including teaching Sunday School lessons. 4.5 years of volunteering with children and young people in the UK through church activities.
