Advert description
Mechanical Engineer, 4+ years in industry, 8 months teaching experience. I can teach any STEM at GCSE level, and Maths, Physics and Engineering at A-Level.
I graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Wolverhampton in 2020. I spent 4 years in manufacturing, where I was able to make a significant impact on the companies I worked for. In 2024 I did a season at PGL, and discovered a love for working with young people. In 2025 I began initial teacher training, where I developed my core competencies relating to teaching.
My lessons are highly tailored to my students. As I teacher I learnt the importance of bespoke methods to address weaknesses and bolster strengths. I make heavy use of visuals to build understanding. Students will create and manipulate their own diagrams and models to work towards mastery. Practice makes perfect, short tests will be issued every session for assessment purposes, and to build resilience and preparedness for the real deal. I am able to teach GCSE and A-Level content. Lessons will typically last for 1 hour, with the final 10 minutes reserved for assessment and reteaching/consolidation.
