Reliable online secondary and GCSE maths tutoring to build confidence and understanding

I hold a first-class Master’s degree in Chemistry and have completed a year of PGCE study. I offer secondary and GCSE Maths tuition and aim to create a calm, friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether maths feels challenging or you’re aiming to improve your grades, I focus on helping students build confidence, understanding, and belief in their own ability.

I have tutored several students in small groups and on a one-to-one basis and have experience working with students of varying abilities, including those who have found maths difficult or lacked confidence. I have also worked with pupils with a range of learning needs, adapting lessons to suit each individual.

I encourage students to share what they feel they need to focus on, helping them feel more confident and in control of their learning. I break topics down into manageable steps and explain ideas in a clear, straightforward way, adapting my teaching to suit how each student learns best. Students are encouraged to ask questions, take their time, and build confidence gradually.
