I am providing high-quality online English lessons to children and teenagers looking to ease nerves, develop their interest in the subject, and ultimately improve their abilities ahead of exams!

I’m a student at the University of Birmingham looking to use my knowledge of, and passionate interest, in English Literature to aid current school students! I received a Level 9 grade in both English Literature and English Language at GCSE level, and then went on to earn an A* in English Literature at A-Level, so I’m well versed in the exam system, and have the skills to help others navigate a tough subject.

To me, English is an incredibly exciting and versatile subject, and I’m exceptionally keen to transfer some of this interest to others, even those who may struggle with its understanding, or find it difficult to take enjoyment from. Beginning to see the world through an English student’s brain is a super exciting process and I would love to be part of others’ journeys.

Not only do I have the academic qualifications to give students a sense of confidence in my ability, but I also have experience in working with children of all ages, both in school, and in extracurricular sports. The latter of which, being a field I am particularly interested in, means I have engaged with many children, and even age-mate peers, who are afflicted by nerves and require encouragement. This means that I have a good understanding of how to approach the subject of revision and tutoring to students who may find it nerve-wracking or, quite frankly, boring!
