I am an art tutor based in Leeds, specialised in Realism, Realistic Art, and Anatomical Accuracy. My goal is to help you bridge the gap between what you see and what you create on paper or canvas. Whether you’re a beginner or you’re an artist looking to sharpen your technical skills, I focus on teaching you how to “see” like an artist.
For those just starting out, I will teach you the absolute basis of every medium. We won’t dive dive into the deep end; I’ll show you how to handle your brushes, mix your paints, and understand your materials from scratch. We will work on the core foundations, from full-figure studies and linear drawings to live, rapid sketching. I teach you how to capture the soul of a subject using any tool , from the raw energy of charcoal to the precise flow of a brush.
My biggest strength is my technical handling of different mediums to create realistic art. I have mastered the art of watercolours and oil from realistic art, which is often a difficult medium to control, and i bring that same expertise to acrylic, pastels, charcoal, etc.
Water-based medium: I have a real passion fro watercolour and Gouache, as well as acrylic and ink.
Classical Painting: I can walk you through the technical side of Oils and Mixed-media.
Life Drawing: I specialise in teaching how to capture the human form accurately and quickly through brush, paint, or charcoal.
Dry Media: Working with Charcoal, Lead, Pencil, and both Oil and Dry Pastels to get a perfect realistic
