With over 30 years of experience in secondary education, I have dedicated my career to supporting young people, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), to achieve their full potential. I have extensive knowledge of the secondary school curriculum and understand how to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs, abilities, and learning styles.

My approach is patient, encouraging, and personalised. I build positive relationships with students, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and a genuine enjoyment of learning. I believe every learner can succeed when teaching is tailored to their individual strengths and challenges.

I have significant experience teaching and supporting students in English, Maths, Art, and Design & Technology, using creative and practical strategies to make learning engaging and accessible. As a practising artist, I also bring creativity into my teaching, helping students develop problem-solving skills, self-expression, and confidence.

Throughout my career, I have worked closely with families, teachers, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments that enable students to thrive both academically and personally. Whether preparing students for exams, building core skills, or supporting those who need extra encouragement, I am committed to providing high-quality, compassionate tuition that helps every student make meaningful progress and achieve their goals.
