History Tutor teaches students to love history

With a history of working with kids of all ages from childhood to teenhood, and not being too far from being a teen myself (and therefore, still hopefully in touch with what engages students from a personal perspective) I believe I can help anyone love history whilst also passing those necessary exams! Passion for a subject is what’s really required to make it fun and engage the mind. Breaking history down into bite size chunks and applying it to things that students will be able to relate to - whether that is the historical implications of Taylor Swift’s The Last Great American Dynasty, or Harry Potter - is what I specialise in, and I also believe in the importance of truly listening to the way the student likes and needs to be taught, as everyone’s brains work in different ways!
