I give personalised lessons at any level that keeps music engaging throughout the learning process

I have lots of teaching experience in many fields including my current role as a coding tutor with Code Camp. I have also taught skateboarding and guitar/music theory. My method of teaching involves identifying a goal for a student, and then breaking down the individual steps and skills required to achieve that. For example, if you want to learn a song from absolute scratch, I will take you through the very basics and then identify the learning areas like power chords which involves learning how to play chords, how to strum multiple strings and how to efficiently swap between different shapes and areas of the neck. Optionally, I can break the song down with the student to teach them the theory that makes their favourites tick.
